Abstract text

Objectives: To learn how to create a 'Summary of Findings' (SoF) table, about the GRADE approach, and use GRADEpro with specific guidance for editors, Cochrane Centres and entity staff. Description: SoF tables are an important addition to Cochrane reviews. SoFs summarise the main findings of a review and ensure that the quality of a body of evidence is considered with the magnitude of the effects. While there is a predetermined process for creating SoFs, this process has different implications for different editorial staff. SoF training has been identified as a key effort by the Cochrane Training Working Group and Coeds-Methods Working Group (now MARS). Small Groups will focus on more discussion of GRADE, more hands-on work with GRADEpro, diagnostic SoF and improving SoFs in review groups.
