Sign-up

Below is the full Colloquium program. For session descriptions and further details, click on the session titles. Sessions are open to all delegates unless marked 'Restricted' to a specific target audience.

Please note: You need to be logged in and registered to be able to sign up for sessions and create your personal schedule.

Participants are required to sign up for workshops to secure a place. You can also sign up for meetings and add oral or special sessions to your personal schedule, but this is not a requirement. To sign up for a workshop or to add a session to your schedule, click on the respective link at the right end of the session title. Presenters of workshops, meetings or orals cannot sign up for their own sessions, but they will appear automatically in their personal schedule.

Posters
The dedicated poster sessions will take place from 10:30-12:00 each day of the Colloquium. To see all posters and add them to your schedule, please click here.

Oral presentations
All oral presentations are 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions. This means that there are four oral presentations in each 90-minute concurrent session.

***Exceptions: The three oral presentations scheduled in Keystone 206B on Friday, 20 September at 10:30-12:00 each have 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions, and the five oral sessions scheduled in Baltimore 303B on Friday, 20 September at 15:30-17:00 each have 10 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

Workshops
Workshops are 90 minutes each. Please note that most workshops have limited capacity, therefore participants are required to sign up for workshops to secure a place.

  • Core workshops
Some workshops are marked as 'Core' workshops in the below listing. These workshops constitute a basic suite of training workshops likely to be relevant to anyone conducting a Cochrane Review.
  • Consumer stream
Some workshops are marked '[Consumer]' workshops in the below listing. These are workshops that are particularly aimed at consumers.
  • DTA stream
Some workshops are marked '[DTA]' workshops in the below listing. These are a suite of workshops all related to diagnostic test accuracy (DTA).

Workshops: Waiting list
If a workshop is fully booked, you can add yourself to the waiting list. You will then automatically be signed up for it should a place become available. You will also be notified by email in this case.

Special Sessions
Special sessions (90 minutes each) provide an opportunity to explore themes relevant to The Cochrane Collaboration in greater depth. The format of the sessions will vary, but the emphasis will be on discussing various key and emerging issues in systematic reviews and evidence-based health care.

Your personal schedule
After you have signed up for workshops and other sessions, you can view and print your personal schedule. Your own meetings, workshops or abstracts as well as any plenaries, lunches and coffee breaks appear automatically in your personal schedule. Social events are only displayed in your schedule if you registered for them. You can add private meetings to your schedule by creating a personal note, and you can also share these personal notes with other participants. You will receive an email if someone else shares a personal note with you, and the personal note will appear in your schedule automatically.

Session changes
You will be notified by email if there are any changes to a session that you signed up for.

Registration for pre- and post-Colloquium events
Please note that adding a pre- or post-Colloquium event to your schedule may not mean that you are registered for it. All pre- and post-Colloquium events, other than the GRADE Workshop, require separate registration. Details on how to register can be found in the respective workshop description.
